Mick Clohisey was named the 2016 Raheny Shamrock Athlete of the year on Thursday evening. Mark Smyth rounded out his 2016 finishing third overall at the Believe & Achieve in the 60 metres. Simon Ryan lands Noonan Cup

Simon Ryan landed the 38th Joe Noonan Cup in some style on Sunday morning with a five second victory over Donal Foley. Ryan opened up the club’s festive season programme winning the second of the “three classics”. The remaining “classic” being the Christmas Day race down the avenue.
