Ian Conroy took victory in the St. Anne’s park run on Saturday morning posting 15 minutes 47 seconds. Over two minutes clear of second place Graham O’Dwyer. Aine Crimin was the first woman home taking 18th place overall and stopping the clock after 20 minutes and eight seconds. David Kirwin led the men’s novice team to the Leinster cross country silver medals in Tyrellspass, Co.Westmeath today. The men just missed out on gold by one single place, finishing behind Crusaders who amassed 69 points to Raheny’s 70. The clubs traditional marathon night celebrations will take place in the Watermill bar, Raheny Village from 8.30pm on Sunday night. N.B. Food bookings must be made directly to the Watermill before 8.30 on Sunday as the kitchen closes at this time. The presentation of the Pat Quinn trophies will take place at the function.
