The Peter Doody 3,000 metre classic takes place in ALSAA on the track this Tuesday evening at 7.30pm. Mick Clohisey landed the biggest road race title outside Dublin with victory in the prestigious Ballycotton 10 Mile on Sunday. The Rio 2016 Olympian put Clonliffes Sergiu Ciobanu and Clonmel’s Kevin Mansuell to the sword around the halfway stage to power to victory in 49 minutes 20 seconds.
