Peter Doody 3,000 metres – Tuesday Night

The Peter Doody 3,000 metre classic takes place in ALSAA on the track this Tuesday evening at 7.30pm. Peter was a loyal Raheny Shamrock member, having tragically passed away in 2003, and the club honours Peter’s memory with a three mile road race in August. Clohisey rules Ballycotton

Mick Clohisey landed the biggest road race title outside Dublin with victory in the prestigious Ballycotton 10 Mile on Sunday. The Rio 2016 Olympian put Clonliffes Sergiu Ciobanu and Clonmel’s Kevin Mansuell to the sword around the halfway stage to power to victory in 49 minutes 20 seconds. Raheny Shamrock Athlete’s produced great displays of vigour and courage as they competed in the All-Ireland Schools Cross Country in Mallusk on March 11th.
