Kate Purcell, Annette Kealy and Orla Gormley were all members of the Irish team which took gold at the British & Irish Masters Cross Country. The 2024-25 Winter league begins on Wednesday November 27. The 10 race series begins with a three mile road race on November 27 with round taking place two weeks later on December 11. Siobhan Eviston won the Polish Independence Day 10km in St. Anne’s Park posting 38 minutes two seconds for first female. Gerry Christie clocked 62:17. Anthony Walsh posted 66:51 at the Stook 10 Mile Kilkenny followed by Helen Carr 75:39 and Denise Kelleher 87:12. There was also running at the University Relays on Friday and also at the Remembrance Run.
