Niamh Fogarty, Mark Smyth and Eric Favors have al been selected for the European Games in Krakow, Poland from June 20 to 26th. The European Team championships is part of the European Games for the first time with three Raheny Shamrock athletes selected as part of Team Ireland. Michael Farrelly posted a new personal best of 10.65 seconds when finishing second in the A 100 metres at the UCD-IMC meet on Saturday. There was a strong medal collection at the national five mile road race championship in the Phoenix Park on Sunday. The women’s team of Zoe Quinn, Tara Kennedy and Mary Walsh took bronze behind winners DSD and DCH in second place.
