Wes O’Brien took seventh place at the Great Limerick marathon on Sunday posting 2:39.51. The race was won by Tudor Micrea in 2:25.16. The Dublin boards graded meetings made a big return this afternoon, making a debut at the new UCD track. The Raheny Shamrock women’s team stole the show at the national road relays held in Raheny village. Two gold and one bronze was brought back by Clare Fox’s team as the host club took home the prize as club of the competition.
