Lots of action on the roads over the last few days. On Thursday, the team of Zoe Quinn (37:07), Siobhan Eviston (37:20) and Aine Crimin (38:43) won the Clonee 10K. The Raheny team had 13 points to spare on second placed Crusaders. Mark Smyth and Eric Favors both struck victory at the European Games as Ireland won division three of the European team championship. The day started extremely well as Mark Smyth won his 200m race in 20.66 seconds, point 38 seconds clear of Georgia’s Mindia Endeladze.
