Leinster Women’s Novice Gold

Lucy Barrett took bronze and led the Raheny Shamrock women’s team home to gold at the Leinster Novice gold. Barrett was just 30 seconds behind gold medallist Claire Fagan of Mullingar Harriers with UCD’s Rose Finnegan taking silver. Stone 10th in Junior Autumn Open Cross Country

Daniel Stone took 10th place in the junior men’s race at the Athletics Ireland Autumn Open Cross Country. The traditional early cross country season opener which doubles as trials for the Home Nations masters cross country saw performances from Ciaran McCarthy, David Kirwan in the masters men race. While Sarah Quigley, Siobhan McCardle and June Comiskey all competed in the master women’s race.

Marathon Workshop Saturday October 19

A marathon workshop has been organised for this Saturday October 19th in Olives Coffee Shop St. Anne’s at 5.30pm. Speakers and a Q&A will be delivered by Dick Hooper, Paul Brady, Mick Clohissey and Pat Hooper to answer questions.
