Niamh McCorry took the national junior shot put title in Tullamore with a great throw of 10.57m. McCorry confirmed her fantastic potential to land gold with a throw of 10.57 nearly a metre clear of Adrienne Gallen. Gallen from Lifford in co.Donegal took silver with a best of 9.87m.
