The 2025 Jim Wall Open Handicap two mile takes place on Tuesday, brining a conclusion to the Raheny Shamrock summer race series. This event is an open handicap, meaning athlete’s are given a start time before the race and all athletes have a staggered start. There was national and Leinster championship team success at the Tullamore half-marathon on Saturday. The famous and prestigious Tullamore half-marathon doubles as both the Leinster and national half-marathon. The senior ladies team of Tara Kennedy Muireann Browne and Carmel Ward took Leinster championship bronze. Niamh Fogarty took third place in the Danish national championship on Sunday breaking the club discus record. Fogarty best throw of 55.65 metres saw her tie for second place and finished third on count back. Another good result for Niamh, whose been having a fantastic year.
