Annette Kealy collected the Masters athlete of the year at today’s Irish Life Health national athletics awards. It was another stellar year for the ageless Kealy who won the W50 World Cross Country title. Annette followed that up winning both the European W50 5,000m title and the 10Km European W50 championship on the road. One thing we’re sure of, is Annette will be back on the podium soon.
Raheny Shamrock have won the Athletics Ireland Club of the Year for 2018/19. A year which saw the senior men’s team win both the national cross country and road relay championships and take silver in the national track and field leagues outdoors and bronze indoor.
