Brian Fay continued his develop as one of the club’s rising stars after an excellent sixth place finish at the national under 19 cross country on Sunday. Fay has competed impressively throughout the season and his sixth place finish behind DSD’s Paul O’Connell who took gold is another step onto what should be a fantastic 2017. Mark the date in your diary, The Club’s Christmas party will take place on Thursday December 22nd at the Whitehouse in Baldoyle from 8.30pm. More details in the coming days but there’ll be the awards for the; Athlete of the Year Mens + Women’s track and field athlete of the year Mens + Women’s cross country and road athlete of the year Junior Athlete of the year Special Merit Award

Congratulations to Ciaran McCarthy, Des Kennedy, Dave Kirwin and Tara Kennedy Monks on their selection to the Dublin team for Sunday’s National Novice Cross Country. The above mentioned members will also be part of club teams in both the novice men’s and women’s races. The championships will be held in Dundalk I.T on Sunday December 11th. The national juvenile uneven age championships will open the programme.
