Dermot Gorman was second today in the Clonakilty half marathon. Dermot finished in 1:20:30. Eddie Harrison ran 3:46:49 for the full marathon with Maurice Timmins running 5:47:29. In the Garda XC in Phoenix Park, Damien Martin was the clubs first finisher and first O50 in 22:52. Donal Foley was tonight’s winner in the latest round of the Winter League. In the 3 mile race, Donal finished in 16:17, two seconds ahead of Damien Martin with Dave Byrne back in third in 16:46. Helen Carr was first woman in 19:38, with Deirdre Fitzsimons in second in 21:08 and Jenny Colbert third in 21:23. The league continues in two weeks.
