Fiona Roche took national 10 mile bronze and led the women’s team home to gold at the Biofreeze Irish Runner 10 Mile on Sunday Morning. Roche posted 60 minutes 54 seconds for bronze. Brian Fay set a new club 3,000m record at the Diamond League in London on Saturday July 20. Fay posted 7:34.48 for seventh place in the 3,000 metres. The race was won by Dominic Lobalu of Switzerland in 7:27.68. Grant Fisher of the USA took second place in 7:27.99 and Kenya’s Edwin Kurgat took third place in 7:28.53. Fay’s time bettered his previous best of 7:36.89.
