Raheny Shamrock’s proud tradition of marathon running will be underlined again on Sunday when 107 club members will toe the line in the 2025 Dublin Marathon.
Among them will be Martin Kelly who has competed in every Dublin marathon since 1980. We wish all the runners well over the 26.2m distance.
As always a large number of non-competing club members will be stewarding sections of the course.
Runners are reminded that if they joined or re-joined the club AFTER they applied to run in the marathon they may not be registered as club runners.
Only Athletics Ireland registered athletes are eligible for individual or team prizes. You can check your status with club secretary Sean McGoldrick at secretary@rahenyshamrock.ie
Furthermore, we are compiling a list of club runners who are making their debut in the marathon.

As always our traditional post Marathon party will be held upstairs in the Beachcomber on Sunday night from 8pm.
There will be some pizza’s available around 9pm. Once there gone, there gone!
