The men’s and women’s teams will both start their National Inter Club Track and Field League campaign in Tallaght next Sunday.
Kay Bannon’s women’s team will face off against Finn Valley, St Abbans, Dundrum South Dublin, Kildare county and Clonliffe Harriers.
While Simon Devenney’s men’s team will face Donore Harriers, St Abban’s Clonliffe Harriers, Dundrum South Dublin, Kildare County and Kilkenny City Harriers.
The other side of the draw see’s women’s clubs Leevale, Bandon, Meath Athletics, Galway county, Tipperary county and Wexford county, men’s teams Crusaders, Menapians, Tipperary county, Tullamor Harriers, Leevale and Galway City Harriers face off in Athlone.
The programme is due to start at 11.30am with the women’s 100 metre hurdles while in the field the men’s programme will start with both the hammer and pole vault while the women’s high jump will begin at 11:30.
Round two of the league takes place on July 30 in either Templemore Stadium or Mary Peters track. The league final takes place in Tullamore on August 20.
