Mick Clohisey was winner of the of the Waterford half marathon today. Mick won in a time of 1:04:29. Other finishers were John Freir 1:30:19, Vinne Clohisey 1:34:57, Aileen Hooper 1:38:32 and Mary Walsh 1:43:51. Niamh Corry was part of the Irish junior women’s development team that competed at the Celtic XC in Edinburgh, finishing 50th in a competitive race.
Dermot Gorman won the St Annes parkrun in 17:05. Other finishers were Alan O’Flynn 18:15, Keith Comiskey 21:52, Sean McGoldrick 22:49, Ivan Fitzpatrick 23:41, Rachel Ormond 24:37, Christy Reilly 24:57, Siobhan Foley 25:29, Connor Jennings 25:37, Sue O’Toole 27:28, Valerie Hand 28:14. Karl Meehan was winner of Father Collins in 19:42, while Rachel Markey was second female in 23:52. Dave Brady ran 27:17 in Griffeen. Mick King was second in Malahide in 18:51 with Darren Keane third in 18:58. Other finishers were Brian Quigley 21:23, Eddie Harrison 22:17 and Steven Rowe 24:02.
