Kieran Kelly was the club’s top performer on Day 2 of the National Senior Indoor Championhships. Kieran finished second in the 800 in 1:52:23, ending a 5 year wait for another National individual medal and caps off a brilliant indoor season. Colm Bourke was the clubs other medal winner today, as he took bronze in the long jump with a best of 7.02m which he achieved in the final round. Susan Scallan set yet another club record in the 400m as she ran 55.60 seconds to finish just outside the medals with a fourth place finish while Aisling Drumgoole ran 57.60 to finish 6th. Daire Bermingham stepped up in distance to the 3000m and narrowly missed out on a medal with a fourth place finish in 8:18:16. On the roads Simon Ryan won the Run 4 Enda in 20:45.
