Weekend round-up

There were some good performances by many club members over the weekend. Mark Kirwan was second in the Tallaght 5k in 15:35. Other finishers were Laura Brennan 19:58, Christy Reilly 21:49, Bernie Manley 24:13 and Ray McCormack 28:26. Wes O’Brien was the clubs first finisher in the Boyne 10k in 34:31 with Simon Ryan running 34:47. Other finishers were Dave Grange 38:48, Niall Power 41:19, Mary Lynch 48:17, Connor Jennings 51:28, Fiona Coyle 53:50, Emer Coll 58:48, Nicola Mooney 58:48. At the Greystones IMC Colm Bourke ran 11.67 and 23:30 in the 100m and 200m respectively. Daniel Scully ran 53:43 in the 400m while Simon Devenney ran 4:15 in the 1500m. in Strasbourg Blaithin Sheil ran 10:51 in a 3000m.

Dermot Gorman was winner of Malahide parkrun in 16:27. Other finishers were Seamus Rooney 18:41, Sean McGoldrick 20:09, Steven Rowe 22:53. Alan Foley was second in Donabate in 18:41 while Dave Gargan was third in 18:42. Other finishers were Anne Marie Gargan 22:55. Aileen Hooper was first woman in Father Collins in 21:16 with Aileen Connolly second in 21:21. Other finishers were Rachel Markey 26:23 and Liz Keary 26:24. Barry Lennon was third in St Annes in 17:32.
