New club record for Scallan

Sue Scallan set a new club record in the 200m as she clocked 25:08 at the Ton le Gaoithe sprint meet in Waterford. Aisling Drumgoole ran 25:15 in the same race. Colm Bourke ran 11:37 for the 100m and 22:86 in the 200m. At the Leinster schools Luc Bellantani was second in the long jump with 6.82m. Dylan Kirwan was third in the 400mH in 60.9 while Barry Heneghan was third in the pole vault with 3.20m. Niamh Corry was third in the 3000m while Ailbhe Finnegan was third in the 400m. Aoibhinn McGoldrick was third in the inter 800m in 2:18. Sean Maher was third in the U15 hammer with 37:27m. Fiachra O’Flynn was fourth in the 400mh while Daniel Beveridge was fourth in the discus with 36.32m. Fergus McCormack was 5th in the 1500m. Sean Dowling was 7th in the 400m while Dylan Kirwan was 8th.

Mick Clohisey was second in the Terenure 5 mile this morning with a time of 23:34. Other finishers were Cillian O’Leary 25:05, Wes O’Brien 27:11, Damien Martin 27:38, Dave Kirwin 27:52, Dave Grange 29:13, Ian McConkey 29:13, Dave Duane 29:39, Declan Robinson 29:53, Fiona McGreevy 31:19, Niamh Garvey 33:45, Paul Cullen 33:56, Helen Carr 34:12, Paul Larkin 36:42, Denise Kelleher 38:14, Connor Jennings 39:03, Valerie Clinton 40:55, Gillian Kenny 41:14, Ger O’Rourke 41:46, Siobhan Foley 41:54, Dave Brady 41:58, Valerie Hand 47:38. The quartet of Mick, Cillian, Wes and Damien won the team prize.

Simon Ryan was second in the Navan 6k in 19:14 while Maurice Timmins ran 32:11. At the graded meet in Tallaght Sue Scallan ran 25:14 for the 200m with Fiona Ryan running 27:45. Liam Sheahan ran 25:40 in the men’s race. Andrew Hyland ran 4:26 in the 1500m while Dave Grange ran 4:36. In the 5000m Wes O’Brien ran 16:36 while Dave Kirwin ran 16:42.
