What another spectacular Saturday morningfor the green and white of Raheny Shamrock AC! From our beloved home turf in St Anne’s Park to the scenic routes of Galway, Kerry, Donegal, and even across the water to the UK, our athletes turned out in massive numbers, bringing incredible energy, passion, and some seriously fast times.
This week, we had an astounding **74 club members** lace up their runners across 19 different parkrun events. Whether you were chasing a personal best, enjoying a social jog, or volunteering, you represented the club with pride.

## 🏆 The Headline Acts: Winners and Podium Finishes
It was a weekend of absolute dominance for several of our athletes who claimed top spots and podium finishes across the country!
* **Stephen Butler** was in flying form at **Father Collins Parkrun**, storming home to take **1st place overall** in a blistering time of **16:49**. A fantastic run, Stephen!
* Over at **Mountbellew Forest Parkrun**, **Michael McEnery** also claimed the coveted **1st place overall** finish, gliding through the forest in a superb time of **19:59**. Well done, Michael!
* Up in Mayo, **Daniel Scully** put in a sensational performance at the **Westport Parkrun**, claiming **2nd place overall** with a rapid time of **17:30**.
* Our women’s captain would be incredibly proud of the female podiums this week! The legendary **Annette Kealy** showed her class at **Malahide Parkrun**, finishing as the **1st Female** (and an incredible **9th overall**) in a scorching **18:49**.
* In a massive field at **St Anne’s**, our ladies claimed two spots on the podium! **Chloe Griffin** ran a beautiful race to finish as **2nd Female** (25th overall) in **21:54**, closely followed by **Triona O’Brien** who took **3rd Female** (40th overall) in **22:54**.
* Over in the West, **Caitriona Costello** had a superb run at the **University of Galway Parkrun**, finishing as **3rd Female** (21st overall) in **23:41**.

## ⭐ Terrific Top 10 Finishes
The top-tier performances didn’t stop there. We had several Shamrocks packing the top 10 positions in their respective events:
* **Tramore Valley (Cork):** **David Jackson** travelled south and secured a brilliant **5th place overall** with a stellar time of **18:42**.
* **St Anne’s:** **Declan Whooley** led the huge Raheny contingent home in **5th place** (**19:31**), with **Dermot Coffey** right on his heels in **7th place** (**19:40**).
* **Father Collins:** Backing up Stephen’s win, **Brendan Potter** grabbed a fantastic **6th place overall** in a swift **19:50**.
* **Ards Forest Park:** **Helen Carr** ran a brilliant race in Donegal, finishing as the **6th female** overall in **25:59**.

## 📊 High-Level Participation Statistics
Our strength is always in our numbers, and this weekend was no exception. Here is how the Raheny Shamrock army was distributed across the parkrun world:
* **St Anne’s Parkrun:** The undisputed heartland! A massive **38 Shamrocks** took part in our local parkrun.
* **Ballymount Parkrun & Poppintree Parkrun:** 5 runners apiece representing the club beautifully.
* **Malahide Parkrun:** 4 runners enjoying the coastal castle grounds.
* **Father Collins Parkrun & Fairview Parkrun:** 3 runners each showing fine form.
* **Sligo, Templemore, & Fenit Greenway (Kerry):** 2 runners at each of these gorgeous locations.
* **Single-runner representation:** We had lone, proud Shamrocks flying the flag at *Ards Forest Park, Brickfields, Gorey, Mountbellew Forest, Poolbeg, Tramore Valley (Cork), University of Galway, and Westport*.
* **Global Shamrocks (UK):** We love to see the green and white abroad! **Rachel Markey** flew the flag at **Walthamstow Parkrun** (London) while **Denise Kelleher** took on the **Woodlands, Scarborough Parkrun** in North Yorkshire. Great touring, ladies!
