Lucy Barrett took second place in the opening Dublin graded 1500m of the season at Tallaght AC track on Wednesday night.
Barrett posted 4:49.46 behind outright winner Rose Finnegan of UCD who won out in 4:34.84.
Meanwhile Gavin Eccles won the 1500m B1 race in 4:06.62, Conor Deane of Brothers Pearse took second place in 4:09.76 with Shane Ryan third in 4:11.62.
Luke Murphy took fifth place in 4:18.90 with sixth Dylan O’Brien 4:20.52.
In the women’s C2 race Patricia O’Cleirigh clocked 5:51.10, while in the men’s C1 race Rob Kelly won out in 4:20.54 with Chris Hamill seventh in 4:40.42.
Wesley Grant took second place in the D2 race in 4:39.38 with Aaron Tansey sixth in 4:52.64. Paul Curtayne took 10th in 5:53.42.
