Niamh Fogarty took U23 discus gold on day two of the national junior and under-23 championships in Morton Stadium today.
Fogarty produced a best throw of 52.02 metres for gold, well clear of Emma Kelly from Brow Rangers.
Adam Condon won his 1500 metres heat posting 4:13.50 with Luke Murphy took fourth place in 4:15.67 with Shane Spring eighth in 4:18.65.
In the junior men’s 100 metres Sean L’Estrange posted 11.41 seconds while Matthew Cotter placed fourth in the U23 long jump with a best jump of 6.38 metres.
