Linham Construction who recently completed the roof upgrade and replacement to the Raheny Shamrock Clubhouse at the Old St Assams Church have kindly come on board to sponsor the running of the Club promoted Annual Schools cross-country event on November 12th in St Annes Park.
Linham, it will be recalled also successfully put back in place the Middle cross on the roof that had come crashing down amidst the havoc caused by Storm Eoghan. That major feat of engineering brought Raheny Village to a standstill one Saturday morning last spring as pedestrians and motorists alike became engrossed in the execution and completion of such a feat.

VENUE AND PARKING
St Anne’s Park, Clontarf, at the junction of Mount Prospect Avenue and Clontarf Road/James Larkin Road.
Parking is available on Coast Road, in the Stables car park off Mount Prospect Avenue, or on Watermill Road.

TEAM AND INDIVIDUAL SCORING
• A maximum of 10 students per team.
• The first four finishers from each team will score for the team.
• Medals will be awarded to the top three individuals and the top three teams in each race.
AGE GROUPS
Age eligibility is in accordance with Irish Schools Athletics Association rules for the 2026/2027 school year.
• Minor (U14): age 13 or younger before 1 July 2027.
• Junior (U15): age 14 or younger before 1 July 2027.
• Intermediate (U17): age 16 or younger before 1 July 2027.
• Senior (U19): age 18 or younger before 1 July 2027.
ENTRY FEE AND PAYMENT
The entry fee is €30 per team. Payment should be made by bank transfer to Raheny Shamrock A.C. by Monday, 9 November 2026. Please insert the bank account details before sending.
FACILITIES
A first-aid medic will be in attendance, and toilet facilities will be available on site. Please bring a refuse bag to take away any rubbish and litter.
