2020 Brian Holland Cup this Tuesday

The delayed 2020 Brian Holland Cup takes place this Tuesday evening August 3rd at 8pm.

This is the 60th edition of the Brian Holland Cup and will take place on the traditional course starting at the taxi rank in Raheny village opposite the station house bar.

The race moves past the shops onto watermill road down past manor house and onto the sea front turning left at black banks and returning to the start area, a distance of 2.8 miles.

The Brian Holland Cup is the clubs longest continual road race having first been held in 1959. This race was originally scheduled for Wednesday April 8 2020.

The Brian Holland Cup is a sealed handicap race, meaning a gun to tape race takes place with results adjusted per the handicap.

There is no entry fee for this race, the race check-in will be beside the taxi rank.

N.B. The 2021 Brian Holland Cup is scheduled for Tuesday August 10.
