Kieran Kelly and Siobhan Eviston captured the men’s and women’s prizes at the Seamie Weldon 5K in Ardee on Saturday.
Kelly posted 15 minutes and nine seconds for victory some 33 seconds clear of second placed Eoin Molly from Castlegar.
Kelly led the team home to victory with Dara Mac Riocaird 17:16, Kevin Byrne 17:54 and Wesley Grant 17:57 giving Raheny 39 points, three clear of North East Runners.
Siobhan Eviston was well worth the victory in the women’s race posting 17 minutes 28 seconds, five seconds clear of Denise Toner from Clones.
Others who ran were Aaron Tansey 17:59 and Colm Cassidy 19:17.
