George Sevastopulo and Elena Forkan captured Dublin community games gold and silver in Santry two weeks ago.
These performances qualified the Raheny Shamrock athletes for the Leinster Community Games which today took place in Leixlip, Co Kildare, were they repeated their Dublin performances.
George (U14 800m boys) added the Leinster title to his Dublin one with a gun to tape victory and can now look forward to bidding for the hat-trick when he lines up at the National Community Games in Carlow on September 25th.
Sevastopulo will be joined in Carlow by Elena Forkan (U16 girls 1500m) who in finishing second in her 1500m, hacked a massive 11 seconds off her previous time when clocking a new personal best of 5:06.
