Parkrun Roundup Halloween 2026

It was another fantastic Saturday morning for Raheny Shamrock AC, with our members proudly wearing the green and white at parkruns across Dublin, around Ireland, and even overseas. From first-place finishes to parkrun tourism adventures, the club was represented in style with an incredible 84 Shamrocks taking part across 19 different parkrun events.

Whether it was a hard tempo effort, a personal best attempt, a steady social run, or simply enjoying a Saturday morning in great company, it was wonderful to see such a strong club presence once again.

☘️ Shamrocks Everywhere

As always, St Anne’s parkrun was the club’s biggest gathering point, with an incredible 53 Raheny Shamrock runners taking part.

Our members also spread themselves far and wide, with representation at parks, promenades, beaches, and international venues:

This geographical spread perfectly captures the spirit of parkrun and the enthusiasm of our members to keep running wherever their travels take them.

✈️ Parkrun Tourists of the Week

A special mention goes to our travelling Shamrocks this weekend.

Jenny Colbert represented the club internationally at Zuiderpark parkrun in Den Haag, Netherlands, while Emmet McAvinue and Seona O’Keeffe flew the green and white flag at Upton Court parkrun in England.

We always love seeing Raheny Shamrock colours appearing at parkruns around the world.

Green and White Pride Every Saturday

From event winners and podium finishers to first-timers, tourists, and everyone in between, every one of our 84 participants contributed to another memorable Saturday for the club.

The strength of Raheny Shamrock AC is not measured only by fast times and podium places, but by the incredible community spirit that sees our members turning out week after week, supporting one another, and representing the club with pride wherever they run.

Well done to everyone who laced up the runners this weekend. We look forward to seeing the green and white out in force again next Saturday.
