Good Performances At Autumn Open Cross Country

A rather strong day at the AI Autumn Open Cross Country at the national cross country venue.

Iseult O’Donnell posted an impressive 23^rd place in the senior women’s race in a race won by Britain’s Abbey Donnelly.

In the master women’s race Zoe Quinn took an impressive ninth place with Adrienne Atkins 27^th. Mary Lynch finished fifth in O/65 race.

In the senior men’ race Robert Frewen took 39^th place. In the masters David Kirwin 19^th, Ciaran McCarthy 20^th, Rory O’Sullivan 27^th, Michael Kehoe 56^th and Gary Aylward 61^st.

A fine set of performances at the Amsterdam marathon with four athlete’s all breaking the three hour mark.

John Clohisey 2:52:36, Brian Kelly 2:56:57, Tom Wright 2:57:56 and Darrell Reamsbottom 2:59:47 all putting in excellent performances
