The October bank holiday weekend means one thing, the Dublin marathon.
Alas for the second year in a row, covid-19 put a stop to the Dublin city festival. A number of club members took part in what is hopefully the final virtual Dublin marathon over the weekend.
Martin Kelly kept his remarkable run of competing in every Dublin marathon when he posted three hours 58 minutes on Saturday afternoon.
Martin Kelly has completed all our Dublin Marathon events to date & he wasn’t going to stop this year .. knocking his 42nd #KBCDublinMarathon off his list! 🏃🏻♂️🎉
Just look at smiles & fun they had along the way – well done Martin & the gang today! ❤️#RunYourTown pic.twitter.com/OZMiMcCyUY

A big well done to Martin for competing in his 42nd Dublin Marathon. A big number of club members completed the race, we are awaiting for the final results, once published it will also be published on this website.
Elsewhere over the weekend Kieran Kelly posted a personal best of 14 minutes 23 seconds at the Streets of Kilkenny 5K to take third place. Orla Lambe clocked 21 mintues 18 seconds.
