Kieran Kelly claimed the 2021 Billy Peppard Cup with a clear victory over Adam Condon in three minutes 47 seconds (race distance is not a mile).
Lucy Barrett was first woman home and claimed the Giblin cup. The Shamrock trophy (presented for first time in a number of years) for first junior man went to Adam Condon.
Elena Forkan claimed the Noel Power cup for first junior woman home. George Sevastopulo landed the McDermott Cup for first juvenile.
It was fantastic to be able to return our traditional Christmas Day race after 2020 became the first year in the club’s history that saw us not host a Christmas day race.
However again we must ask a number of trophies were not returned for presentation. We ask previous winners to please check if they have these trophies as we are very proud of past members being honoured in this manner.
Those who were handed a trophy please ensure they return the trophies for the 2022 event.
