Gavin Eccles landed the Leinster intermediate cross country with a convincing win over Alexander Wallace of St. Coca’s in Dunboyne on Sunday.
Eccles led the Raheny team to gold, just one point ahead of Tullamore Harriers.
The team was Robert Frewen 12th, Graham O’Dwyer 13th and Dylan O’Brien 21st giving Raheny 47 points, just one ahead of Tullamore.
The women’s team weren’t as lucky finishing just three points off bronze medallists Liffey Valley. The Raheny team was led home by Jenny O’Sullivan in 11th place, followed by Aine Crimin 26th, Sarah Deneher 28th and Michelle Roest 30th.
Also running well were Molly Rickard, Eimear O’Keeffe, Laura Preston, Clare Fox and Orla Manley.
