Kate Purcell and Mick Clohisey led the Raheny contingent home at the Leinster masters cross country on another great day for Raheny Shamrock.
Kate Purcell took gold in the O/35 grade with Jean Dunne taking gold O/60. There was bronze for Sarah Quigley O/40, Zoe Quinn O/45 and Trish Fitzgearld O/55.
The club team of Purcell, Quinn and Quigley took gold with 15 points some 10 points clear of second placed Sportsworld?
The O/50 team of Trish Fitzgerald, Jenny Colbert and Jean Dunne took bronze with 189 points behind Dunboyne and Mullingar Harriers.
Also running well were Louise Keogh, Sinead McArdle, Tara Kennedy, Mary Walsh, Rachel Ormrod, Jenny Colbert and Deirdre O’Dwyer.
Mick Clohisey was a clear winner of the men’s race outright taking O/35 gold. Ciaran McCarthy took silver in the O/45 grade.
The men’s team of Mick Clohisey, David Kirwan, Ian Conroy and Ciaran McCarthy took gold with 38 points some 30 points clear of Celbridge. While the men’s O/50 team of Gary Aylward, Dave Woods and Keith Fleming took sixth place.
Also racing well were David Kirwan, Ian Conroy, John Dunne, John Clarke, Seannie Honan, Ruairi McArdle, Terry Keogh, Eric Champ, Keith Fleming, Michael Kehoe, Dave Woods, Gary Aylward and Tom Loftus.
