Niamh Kearney took her international debut on Saturday finishing 14th in the Northern Ireland international held in Belfast.
The race was won by reigning World 5,000 metre champion and Olympic silver medallist Hellen Obiri of Kenya.
Kearney was second woman home on the Irish team who took silver in the Celtic team result with 42 points 10 points behind winners the Northern Ireland & Ulster team.
Very well done to Niamh hopefully the first of many senior international caps.
