Mick Clohisey took second place in the Sonia O’Sullivan Cobh 10 mile road race posting 51 minutes one second on this comeback.
The race was won by Ger Forde of Kilkenny city harriers in 50 minutes 37 seconds.
Also running where Denis Murphy 71:09 and Angela Charlton 79:48. Joe McCracken post 76.06 in the Omagh half-marathon.
A sizable group at the Manchester marathon was led home by Wes O’Brien 2:37.15 followed by Mary Walsh 3:05.45, Roberto Romano 3:10.04, Brian Conor 3:11.59.
Eibhine Eviston 3:29.52, Elaine McNulty 3:43.19, John Freir 3:56.20, Paul Larkin 4:03.48. While Shane Fitzgerald clocked 2:38.54 in the Paris marathon with Simon Sheridan posting 3:09.
Daniel Stone took 22nd place in the Barcelona half-marathon in 64.59.
