The Raheny Open Mile takes places on Wednesday night April 20th.
The race is open to all athlete’s and takes place on the one mile loop which will be used for Sunday’s national road relays.
This race is the final race in the 2021/22 Winter League season and is the final trial for the Raheny Shamrock team’s for Sunday’s national road relays.
Entry is €7 and can be paid in advance on-line by click the join here button. There is no entry fee for those who paid the winter league series fee.
Race Night instructions
Entries and registrations are available in the Raheny Shamrock Clubhouse, old Church, Raheny village. The club house shall be open from 7pm.
N.B. This is test event two as we continue the phased opening of our new temporary premises.
Race
The race begins on it’s usual start line at Wades avenue at 8pm sharp.
The Raheny Open Mile is licensed by Athletics Ireland and ran under the rules of World Athletics.
Presentations
The presentations will be done in two slots.
The top three in the Raheny Open Mile will be presented their prizes close to the finish line soon after the race is completed.
The presentation of the 2021/22 Winter league prizes will take place in the Raheny Shamrock clubhouse as quickly as possible.
