Sophie Becker helped the Irish 4×400 metre relay team to sixth place in the European Championships in Munich.
The team took sixth place in 3:26.03 with the Netherlands taking gold, Poland took silver and Great Britain bronze.
A very good performance from the Irish team, giving the expectation that Ireland will be around the 4×4 relay for a couple of years with a strong panel developing.
Sophie Becker becomes the first Raheny Shamrock athlete to race twice in the same European championship.
