Michael Farrelly finished third in his heat at the national U23 championship in Tullamore.
Farrelly clocked 11.07 seconds over 100 metres. European finalist Isreal Olatunde took gold in 10.73 seconds with Conor Morey of Leevale took silver in Leevale.
Meanwhile, Niamh McCorry was just outside the medals when she fourth in the U23 shot put with a best of 10.83 metres.
Ciara Sheehy of Emerald took gold with a best of 12.66m. Silver went to Aoibhin McMahon landed silver with a best of 12.22m and bronze to Casey Mulvey of Inny vale with a best of 11.94m.
