On Wednesday night, Kate Purcell won the Oldcastle 5km posting 17:38. While also running were Francesco Petroni 18:25, Brian McWeeney 19:43 and Gerard Fay 28:02.

James Hyland was the first Raheny athlete home at Saturday’s Clontarf half-marathon posting 1:18:45. Hyland was followed home by Jamie Shiels in 1:24:00.
