Sophie Becker, Brian Fay and Eric Favors have all been selected for the 2023 World Championships in Budapest, August 19th – 27th.
Becker will be making a second appearance at the World Championship, having taken part in the 4x400m mixed relay in Oregon last year.
Becker is selected as part of the mixed 4x400m relay team and the women’s 4x400m relay team.
Eric Favors is in line for this second appearance at the World Championships having also competed in Oregon last year. The national record holder will be making his second appearance in the shot put.
While Brian Fay is selected for his first World Championship. Fay posted 13.01.40 last month to break the national record of Alistair Cragg which had stood since September 2011.
