Masters Medals At The Indoors

Kieran Kelly made it a double on his debut at the national master’s indoor championships in Athlone.

Kelly took M35 1500 metre gold in 4:10.88 and then landed M35 3000m gold in 8:43.05.

There was also gold for Annette Kealy in the W55 3000m posting 11:00.75. While Orla Gormley took bronze in 12:24.72

David Moore was also a double medal winner. Moore took M45 pole vault gold with a best of 2 metres 20cm. More went onto take bronze in the eight for distance with a best of 3.78 metres.

Also competing and just outside the medal in the W55 800m, Patricia O’Cleirigh took fourth place while in the M35 800m Brian Sexton finished sixth.
