Stack And Clohisey Win On The Roads

Fiona Stack won the Mullingar Half Marathon in 81:26. Stack was followed home by Colm Keady in 98:04 and Donal O’Donoghue 1:47:05. While Chris Troy posted 26:17 in the 5K race.

On Monday, Mick Clohisey won the Skerries 10k in 32:23. Clohisey was followed home by Jean Dunne in 49:28 and Gerard Fay in 56:43.

On Sunday, Lucy Barrett took third place at the Tallaght 5km posting 17 minutes 43 seconds. The race won by Rathfarnham’s Carla Sweeney in 16:54.

Barrett was followed home by Ailish Murtagh 18:44, Jeff Moore 19:03, Colm Kennelly 20:59 and Paul Curtayne 21:57.

At the Up & Out Paddy’s Day Half Marathon Robert Lea took second place in 82:40 with Mary Walsh second woman in 90:31. Eibhin Eviston was third in 91:22

Also running were John Byrne 92:53, Brian Aherne 99:43, Andrew Pryvalko 1:42:50, David Dooley 1:44:47, Michelle Carey 1:56:30 and Gerard Fay 2:10:53.

In the 10k race Zoe Quinn won out in 39:29. Catriona Costello took second place in 44:42 with Orla Gilheaney third in 47:23.

Also running were Christy Reilly 51:12, Melanie Hearns 52:08, Connor Jennings 61:51 and Sarah O’Neill 66:42.

In the 5k race De O’Connor took third place in 27:29 with Carmal Ward posting 27:42.
