Kieran Kelly landed the national 5k road race title for the second time in the phoenix park winning out in 14 minutes 30 seconds.
Kelly had some four seconds to spare on second placed Colm Rooney of Clonliffe.
Kelly was followed home by Robert Frewen 16:12, Brian Sexton 16:19, Aidan JONES 16:20, Graham O’Dwyer 17:05, Terry Keogh 17:16, Niall O’Neill 17:28.

There was gold for the men’s O/35 team of Kieran Kelly, Brian Sexton and Aidan Jones. They were over two minutes clear of Armagh A.C.
While the women’s O/50 team of Annette Kealy, Lorraine Byrne and Siobhan McArdle also took gold.
At the Clondalkin 3/4 Marathon Angela Charlton posted 4:13:34
In the half-marathon Brian Connor posted 1:34:29, Brian Hanney 1:48:30, Tomas McElhinney 1:49:22, Greg O’Beirne 2:14:27 and Gerard Fay 2:22:16.
In the 10k Colm Nugent clocked 46:28 and Robert Cooper 56:48.
