Cillian O’Leary took an impressive seventh place at the Cork City Marathon yesterday.
O’Leary clocked 2:31:24 for seventh place in a race won by Pawel Kosek in 2:23.54. While Darragh Brennan posted 3:01:38.
Michael Brady took fifth place at the Star of the Sea AC 5k on Tuesday posting 16:28. Brady was followed home by Barry Meehan 16:59, Mick Traynor 20:59 and Ger Fay 25:34.
The team of Brady, Meehan and Traynor took second place.
On Thursday at the Balbriggan Summerfest 5k, Mick Traynor posted 20:02, Brian McWeeney 20:49, Clare Fox 21:26, Gerard Fay 24:59 and Larry Fox 44:53.
On Saturday at the Tullaroan Marathon Angela Charlton 4:26:39 and Ger Fay 5:29:27.
