Stack Takes Frank Duffy 10 Second Place

On Saturday, Fiona Stack took second place at the Irish Life Frank Duffy 10 Mile clocking 61 minutes 40 seconds.

Caitlyn Harvey of Road Runners in Belfast won out in 59 minutes 26 seconds with Caroline Hassett of Templemore in third place in 61:58.

Also running where Michael Brady 54:03, Anthony Sharkey 57:10, Aidan Jones 58:16, Ciaran Doherty 62:20, Barry Lennon 63:39, David Naylor 64:44 and John Clohisey 65:52.

Meanwhile, Cillian O’Leary took second place at the St. Cocas Kilcock 10 Mile on Sunday in 54:18. Vinny Connelly of Mullingar Harriers won out in 53:13.

O’Leary led the men’s team including Stephen Butler, Ronan Wogan and Graham Ahearne to victory.

O’Leary was followed home by Stephen Butler 55:19, Ronan Wogan 56:32, Graham Ahearne 58:26, Christopher Quaid 61:32, Colm Dunne 62:12, Andy Kelly 66:06, Sorcha Delargy 74:19, Angela Charlton 85:17 and Ger Fay 88:40

Elsewhere, Kieran Kelly won the Storming the Castle 10k in 32 minutes 37 seconds. While, David Jackson posted 34:43 at the St. Finbars Cork City 10km.

On Thursday, Carmel Ward won the ladies race in the Man O’War 7k hosted by Lusk AC in 29 minutes 35 seconds.

Ward was followed home by Dave O’Hara 30:22, Dave Feeney 31:23, Keith Comiskey 33:41, Richie Kenneally 35:27, Angela Charlton 35:57, Gerard Fay 36:35, Gregory O’Beirne 36:59, Siobhan Mulvey 44:05 and Orla Hayes 52:45.

On Friday at the Rathkenny 5km Ger Fay posted 25:20 with Matt Wade clocking 33:29.
