Annette Kealy Claims Masters World Championship Gold

The ageless Annette Kealy took another World Masters in Gothenburg on Sunday.

Kealy clocked 39 minutes 30 second for victory in the 10k road race in the W55 category, having finished 28th overall.

Marie Dasler of Sweden took silver behind Kealy in 40 minutes six seconds.

Kealy will be back in action in the cross country race during the week.

On Thursday, Kieran Kelly came close to a medal in the W35 5000m finishing fourth.

Kelly posted 15:05.61. Mark Husted of USA took gold in 15:03.67 with Norway’s Mathias Moen second in 15:05.35. Bronze went to Gert-Jan Wassink of Netherlands in 15:05.49.
