Carmel Ward won the Longford marathon in three hours eight minutes and 44 seconds, finishing 13th overall. Leinster Half-Marathon Team Bronze Medals
Another good day at the Tullamore half-marathon incorporating the famous Quinlan Cup and Leinster half-marathon championship. Robert Frewen led the team home in 10th place clocking 74:13 followed by Ian McConkey in 76:27, Eric Champ 77:52 and Chris Quaid 79:49.
