Kelly Sets New Club 1500m Indoor Standard
Kieran Kelly broke his own club indoor 1500 metre record at the Vienna international indoor meet. Kelly posted three minutes 45.27 seconds to finish fourth overall, the race having been won by Turkish international Levent Ateş in 3:40.28. Sixth Place Finishes in National Indoor League Rd2
Raheny Shamrock men’s and women’s teams both finished sixth after the second round of the national indoor league. The women’s team finished third in round two with a total of 21 points. Siobhan Eviston scored maximum points winning the 1500 metres in four minutes 38.24 seconds while Aisling Drumgoole was second in the 200 metres in 25.64 seconds.
