It is with great sadness Raheny Shamrock Athletic Club have learnt of the passing of Michael (Haulie) McGrath, father of Michael McGrath. Mr. McGrath passed away on December 31 2020. Mr. McGrath’s funeral takes place on Wednesday January 10th and can be live streamed here The club extends it’s sympathies to Michael and the McGrath family. Fay Sets New 10,000m Record
Brian Fay has set a new club 10,000 metre record after posting 28 minutes 41.70 seconds at the Winter Sprints meet in Belfast on December 19. Fay finished second overall with Sean Tobin winning out in 28:30.91. Fay took point 02 off David Rooney previous 10,000m record set on April fourth 2014.
