Women’s Team Make Track & League Final

Blaithin Sheil’s Raheny Shamrock Women’s team grabbed qualification for the premier division final on the qualify day of the national track and field league. Comerford Repeats Prefontaine Classic Win

Orla Comerford scored another win at the prestigious Prefontaine Classic on Saturday evening. Comerford successfully defended her title in the Women’s Para Athletics 100m Mixed Classification, crossing the line first in 12.14 seconds. Comerford, matched her winning time from the 2024 edition of the event. Her win in Eugene follows a new personal best of 11.87 seconds set at the Oslo Bislett Games. Cian Charlton won the Clontarf half-marathon in 79 minutes two seconds with Anthony Eams third in 79:23.
